Came across Defendo, an Allied Special Forces combat system atwww.defendo.ca, that was and is now supposedly being taught to women again.
Bill Underwood, apparently the creator of "Combato" and "Defendo" used to teach women for decades. A number of his books are posted on the website. Interesting, check it out. Anyone else know anything of this system? I know that its not Fairbairn's Defendu or Close Quarter Combat.

I believe Phil Elmore has a brief history of the style up on his web-site.
It is apparently based on classical Jiu-jitsu.
