Seminar Promoting Information

Promoting a seminar at your school is a great opportunity to learn new material, publicize your school and make some money!

Fees

The instructor is guaranteed $400 per day. The gross revenue will go towards travel expenses (airfare), hotel, and the $400 instructor fee. Any income left after these expenses have been met will be split 50/50 between instructor and promoter.

Example 1: A two day seminar with 30 participants paying $100 for both days.

Income: 30 x $100 = $3,000.00
Expenses: $300 (airfare), $100 (hotel; 2 nights), $400 (instructor fee) = $800
$3,000 - $800.00 = $2,200 split 50/50 = $1,100 to the promoter after all expenses are paid.

Example 2: A one day seminar with 30 participants paying $60.

Income: 30 x $60 = $1,800.00
Expenses: $300 (airfare), $100 (hotel; 2 nights), $400 (instructor fee) = $800
$1,800 - $800.00 = $1,000 split 50/50 = $500 to the promoter after all expenses are paid.

Promotion

Promoting the seminar is the obligation of the seminar promotor. A sample flyer will be provided by Mousel's Self-Defense Academy.
