Texas 2005 Weapons Defensive Tactics Course
Level 1

Why should I attend?

Today’s world is one of ever-increasing violence. More often than not, a weapon is involved in violent assaults. A two day investment can decrease your chances of becoming a statistic on the evening news. Gain the ability to protect yourself, your friends and your family.

What will be taught?

• Best tactics to defend against a baseball bat wielding assailant
• Learn how to avoid being hit with a tire-iron, stick or even a beer bottle
• Confronted with a knife – quick and easy methods to stay alive
• Tell-tale signs that an attack is imminent
• Combative firearm training – real situations require more than just point and shoot
• Spray defense – put the power of tear gas on your side

Who is teaching the course?

The course will be taught by Tim Mousel and Stanley Phillips. The two have combined experience in martial arts and defensive tactics of 60 years! Their expertise has resulted in instructor certifications from several of the world’s top fighting experts, including world renowned weapons expert Dan Inosanto. Additionally, Mr. Phillips has immeasurable experience as an Army Ranger having served our country in Vietnam and other conflicts worldwide and 23 years in Law Enforcement. He is responsible for training military and law enforcement nationwide.

Saturday, September 17 th – noon – 6 pm Bailey’s Gun Range, 3626 Bluebonnet Dr., Houston, TX 77053
Sunday, September 18 th – 10 am – 4 pm ATA Black Belt Academy, 1813 N. Mason Road, Katy, TX 77449

What equipment do I need to bring?

If you are attending the Saturday session, a pistol and 150 rounds are required.
For the Sunday session, a training knife and kali sticks are recommended but not required.

What is the investment fee?

One Day - $99

Both Day’s - $185
