Swain Mats?

I don't THINK so - I'm pretty sure the vinyl keeps the germs out of the underlayment. My main concern is 1) will it work for stand up and judo 2) will it be able to go around the columns in the middle of the room. The number for Swain on their website doesn't seem to work...

Will you be able to clean them once a month or so?

We sweep daily, mop weekly. Why is that relevant?

I'm thinking of putting down swains mat that has an underlayment and then vinyl stretched over it. We have columns in the middle of it though, so I'm wondering if that is a problem.

We do mostly stand up, but some Judo too.

Thoughts?
