ITF WTF should be TOGETHOR!!who agrees??

Seroiusly i really REALLY look forward to this day, even if i am fuckin 80 yrs old. The nth korean ITF and south korean WTF are havin continious meetings tryin to comprimise there way of teakwondo. So it will not happen overnight. they have been tryin for many years but to the organisations will eventullly combine as 1.. it will be good and korean and TAEKWONDO

The Wtf is very strong at the moment mean while the ITF is not strong as it use to be. it has three groups. ( nows thats fucked up)

They might have defferant patterns,uniforms, technique terminogly, sparing rules, but we share the same name. anything is possible.

Back at home where im from in Australia OR where eva u are from. there are soo many talented itf students that i know. and its a shame i dont get to c them compete with the WTF.. or vice verser. taekwondo is about showing graceful dynamic techniques. and we both share it.

Any1 here that does itf wtf tkd would love for this to happen. if u dont plz tell me why??? u would derserve a kick to the head..

Not sure it's a great idea, I don't want to see the ITF connected with the Olympics in any way; if there is a connection with the WTF the Chang Hun Ru style forms may be introduced to the Olympic comp.....not a great idea!

how can u say that mate.. there is alot of talented fighters in the ITF.. it would be great to c them able to compete with each other. i reguraly compete in itf and wtf tournaments. and ive seen itf fighters perform very well.. even winin there division. we perform all the same techiques.

No doubt! IMNSHO the ITF has better fighters, but what do we have to prove? Why make ITF 'Traditional' Taekwondo a sport activity? I cringe when I watch the Olympics....that is not TKD, and I'm glad to have the seperation.

We'll need to agree to disagree, I know - and have trained with way to many of each style in my 22 years of TKD. I know who I can beat and how, and I don't loose to KKW or WTF; I tend to have the most trouble with style ITF fighters.

As for being harsh, not meant to be. If I offend anyone, I'll do some pushups (God knows i need to anyway). I have respect for all who train. Just sharing my opinion over the time I have spent training.

interesting you have more trouble with the ITF fighters??? tell me why.. cous alot of ppl say itf is better. we all have our weeknesses. are u sure you are not just sayin that cous u r a ITF Fighter. And have u ever came across WTF fighters from south korea??

Yes I have, come to America to teach for the ATA - great, just great martial artists (former Tiger team members). But all had the same problem, did not know what to do when you get inside on them. Their skill with hand techniques are poor, where just the opposite is true for their feet - lightning. The ITF fighter is not outstanding with either hands or feet, they seem to have a very good balance between the two.

My uncle is with the USTF (7th Dan; Master Gerry Brown) That's my ITF connection (as it is) but most of my training is under GM Jack Pierce www.masterpierce.net under him with the Hwa-Rang Taekwondo Federation and the American Taekwondo Association. I am no longer a part of the ATA.

I hold an ATA 4th Dan, ITC 4th Dan and an HTF 5th Dan.
