Hapkido and Jeet kune do: Differences

I'm going to do Hapkido or Jeet kune do but i'm not decided yet. I would like to know what are the principal differences between them. The most effective in the street?

I know both work all the distances, both are useful for self-defense,...

Hapkido is an Art loaded with throws and takedowns as well as wristlocks and strikes. JKD does not have that much throwing but has the strikes as well as lots of boxing type manuevers. That's just it in a nutshell.
