Most of my students are female.

      Only a handful are male.

This is because adult females look for defense.

They come and go per when session end.

My self defense sessions last 12 weeks.

There are 4 sessions on all.

My adult males are students whom have been "with" me for nearly 20 years.

        Sweet!

What style are you currently teaching?

I dont teach the females a particular style.

The first session is about mentality and self-preparation.
also, how to walk, speak, and prepare for the home, car, and office.

The second session is about understanding the differences between victim and assailant. With a in-depth review on types of assailants. I bring in a Leo, and a pyschologist in this session.

The third session is on basics, postures, and physical prepareness. Mild defense tactics are at the end of this session

The fourth session, is advanced and extreme defense applications. Towards the end of this session, I bring in a attorney to discuss legal issues for a victim and assailant. Also, legal issues dealing with force/excessive force.

It is a combination of common sense methods.

Now, currently I teach my dedicated male students, whom are instructors elsewhere (and by right), a Chinese Family Kuyhn (Kune-Kuen)

Half of these male students started in other arts and have reamain within those organizations. Coming to me to further their knowledge.

In fact, the schedules for these males are so crazy, that I meet a few late at night (midnight to 3 am), two nights out of the week.

            Er... yeah... must have been...

My point was more to say that there is no relevance to saying that someone saw some "hot" women at a bjj tournament... Their hotness or lack thereof has nothing to do with talking about women in martial arts. It'd be like if I was posting on this board and making a point of pointing out each time someone I was referring to was blonde... It has nothing to do with the topic!

I have no preference when rolling between Brad Pitt and Tom Arnold - if I had to choose, I'd pick the one whose jiu jitsu was better and who had a track record of helping other students in class. Because it's jiu jitsu, not a pick up parlour.

thats some bs. if brad pit and tom arnold came to ur academy and u had ur choice to roll with either one, u would pick brad pit in a second.

I am being totally honest here, if I had to pick one to roll with, I would choose the one with the best jiu jitsu, and who was the best to roll with, i.e. used good technique, not brute strength. Because BJJ and sex are two completely different things to me.

Now if it came to needing to get a ride to class, or going out after class for drinks, you know which one I would choose in a heartbeat! But for training, I'm going to choose the best training partner.
