i own the tao of jeet kune do...it is a very good book and i read it at least 4x a week....it's very hard to put down becuz it makes so much sense

I don't think jealousy or getting one's ass kicked by a JKD person is reason for saying Bruce wasn't as good as he was.

It is true Bruce go into alot of fights in the streets of Hong Kong before doing martial arts. It is also true he improved his fighting ability with martial arts and that he put down alot of traditionalists because he felt their training lacked in many ways and he was right. However this does not mean that Bruce Lee was really as quick as they showed him in his movies.It is physically impossible to move as quickly as shown in his films and it is called camera tricks,yet there is no doubt that he made the martial arts what it is today and changed it forever.

He was a great martial artist, a great street fighter and a great martial arts actor regardless he was no different from any other martial artist other then the fact he influenced alot of people.

He influenced people by how he talked,his belief, and his fighting abilities in his films and that's it. After all the guy never competed in tournaments to show his worth as a fighter.

Bruce Lee has been known as number 1 martial artist since his death however the film industry for martial arts films has always over rated him and still continues to do so. He has been placed as an icon for all martial artists and no doubt deserves to be because of his films, speaches and honesty of all styles,but do not believe everrything you hear the film industry say.After all his technique in movies is always speeded up just to make it look like he is quick although some claims have been made that he was so quick that they had to slow down his moves for the film.

I know alot about Bruce Lee's life style, because I have done research and red about him.I know that Bruce didn't really die from a bullet in a gun during a film he was making which is an old myth.The way he really died was from a

I remember this forum had in the 90's individuals that discussed technique and work out training that was very helpful and now it's completely gone backwards to mindless grouping for the kung fu theater at blockbuster crap.
