  • Prayer for weight loss.

    So I was put on a drug called Phentermine about 3 months ago. On the drug I lost a total of 17 pounds so far. I started at 442-443 pounds and I'm now at 429 pounds. I just got home from the doctor's today and that is what I weighed.

    So my weight loss is happening slowly but surely. I'm still as wide as a house and look like I weight 460+ pounds but I'm not THAT fat thank God. I mean it, thank the Lord that I'm not 500+ pounds like some people and i was heading in that direction. My doctor is hoping for another 10 pound weight loss when he sees me again in September. So why am I opening a prayer request? I want people to pray for my weight loss and that (God willing) I'll be back to 300 pounds in 2-3 years and maybe even 250 pounds? I don't want to push my luck or set an unreasonable goal. I also want God's will to be done on this issue and not my own. If it were up to me 250 pounds would be great that's a loss of almost 200lbs. That should be maybe doable though? It'd take me almost 4-5 years to lose all that weight but it will be well worth it. Please pray that I continue to lose weight and if it's God's will that I be 250 pounds and in shape again. I want to be able to go into the store and out again. I want to not need a cane or walker everywhere I go I'm only 37 years old for crying out loud. It's not like I'm in my 80s and am elderly here. So, yeah. Pray for my weight loss. All prayers are appreciated.​
