Hi. I'm just wondering where in the Paris area you can buy new household appliances and how to find people who will install it? I was thinking maybe IKEA? Has anyone had the experience of buying home appliances from IKEA France and having them design/install your kitchen as well? I heard that there are not enough good repairmen/handymen in France, and I thought IKEA could be a good one-stop shopping solution for those who don't speak the language. Any other suggestions would be great. Thank you.

You might also try contacting the appliance manufacturers themselves, as they often have a list of authorized installers.
