Open Question: Xbox 360 live friend notification on radar in fifa 09 - how to move in

hi so i play fifa 09, and whenever a friend signs in or something, a message comes up telling me 'james has signed in' or whatever, and blocks the radar for about 5 seconds. its extremely annoying. how do i shift the notifications in the top right corner?
