There's already been a wedding and a birth this season on Modern Family season 1-4 dvd box set so perhaps it's only fitting that Season 4 will sign off with a death.
According to ABC News, actor Ed O'Neill, who plays patriarch Jay Pritchett on the show, said the sitcom's season finale "involves a death, which doesn't seem like it's funny, but it's a very funny show, and it's a very touching show."
"Modern Family" took fans to a Florida funeral for its fourth season finale, and in the process, the episode's retirement community setting paved the way for some awesome old-school cameos.
The series finale of NBC's "30 Rock" on Thursday gave the show a ratings boost on its way out the door, while CBS won the night overall with a slate that included the top-rated "The Big Bang Theory," according to preliminary numbers.
30 Rock season 1-7 dvd box set airing at 8 p.m., posted a 1.9 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic -- up 36 percent from last week's episode and last season's finale in May 2012, which both drew a 1.4/4. Thursday's finale posted the show's best ratings since March 2012.
In the "Breaking Bad" universe, the color pink is associated with death. The charred teddy bear was pink, as was Walter's sweater the day the plane came down. Some TV fans think that the pink costumes baby Holly wears are a sign that she will die. If this is true, then a grieving Walt might blame himself for her death, which he easily could be directly responsible for given his history.
