All Kimbo seems to throw is haymakers and hooks. This goes to show that the gusy he fights have little skill at all. Even if the afro guy covered up Kimbo would have had a hard time hurting him. A decent jab, some lateral foot movement and timing Kimbo's hooks and that kid would have a had a damn good chance.

But in truth, it wasn't skill that made the difference there. It was heart.

what wacked out shit do i believe in? i simply saw a bunch of videos on the internet purporting to be authentic nasa footage, shot by our own governments astronauts, that showed some wierd objects flying around and i tried to ask people on this forum what they thought they were seeing in the videos. i would hardly call that believing in wacked out shit, considering the sources of the videos happens to be our very own space agency.

Personally I didnt, but I'm sure Paul Buentello would.Any thoughts on this rumoured fight? I say Kimbo gets his ass handed to him by Paul.. but who knows.

Kimbo lost to Gannon, whom was in a amateur MMA circuit. The rules of the fight were bare knuckle boxing. Gannon sank a guillotine, (even though illegal according to the rules, Kimbo's corner did not understand the choke) and that pretty much took the wind out of Kimbo, giving him the remainder of the fight.

Most of the guys Kimbo has fought are smaller (he's big afterall) and unskilled. Still he's a hard hitter, presses the action and he's got some workable boxing skills.

It depends on the rules of the fight as to how entertaining it will be, but either way I give it to Buentello on skill, experience and conditioning.

If its an MMA-rules fight (or minimum rules), Buentello is going to beat him pretty quickly.

If its a bare knuckle boxing bout, I'd say Kimbo makes a good showing (as both fighters are not boxers) and is able to demonstrate his power but gets out skilled, out gassed and eventually TKO'd.

I'd like to see Kimbo vs. Tank Abbot.

Tank has always been a litmus test for the better MMA fighters. Those who could beat him were usually proved to be better than average fighters later in their career (Severn, Taktarov, Mo Smith, Kimo etc.).

Both fighters are power hitters and approximately the same size and build. Kimbo is 6'3" and 260. Tank is 6' and 250.

Tank is more experienced in the MMA crowd and has shown some skills in wrestling.

Kimbo is hungry. Under the right management, he could get trained properly and stirred up.

If Kimbo could beat Tank, it would give him a better start to an MMA career and more earnings over time versus fighting Buentello an experienced Veteran who will more than likely win and make him look like another side-show type fighter.

I'm not sure what it is, Mike, but if I mentioned anything along the lines of what we just talked about, it makes her furious. We stopped talking pre-Holidays due to irreconcileable differences.
