I like the ASP or Surefire flashlight attatched to my ASP baton. Of course, that's not legal, but hey...who said I had to be a good boy. I would like to see a tactical flashlight made to be as thin as the ASP baton and maybe about 14 to 16 inches long. I find the Mags a little too big for my tasting.

Hello! How do you people feel about the flashlight as a legal self defense weapon . I was reading posts about this topic at another forum and would be interested in hearing your opinions.What do you carry ? Size ?I meself carry a 6 D Maglite.I had a 6 c ,it was faster and a little easier to grip but I like the weight of it and the more I practice with it the lighter it gets.I also have a mini maglite on my belt > What other recommendations do you have for legal self defense weapons: pens, umbrellas ...?? Has anyone ever had an experience with the police where you had to justify why you were carrying your (legal) sized knife?
