You cannot say that the people involved in the Salem Witch trials weren't good people. They were, like US citizens today, living in an environment fueled by fear and terror tactics. And the victims were thought to be possessed by evil spirits ... another propoganda spread by the Church. Yet another classic case of pundits controlling the minds of the people through whatever media vehicle they have.

Christian prophecy is nothing more than an extention of Zionism, which is is the true cause of the conflict in that region. I usually don't get into these discussions, but call a spade a spade.

Do some research. The conflicts in the Middle East that led to what is today know as The War On Terror in the United States of America can be traced back to one specific date: May 15, 1948

Hmmm weren't these people the middlemen between "god" and his flock? Most of that BS was sanctioned by or carried out by the clergy themselves...

That leaves you saying the people who carry the message of "God" are of questionable virtue and character yet they are the ones spreading Gods teachings, HMMMM.

No shit? I'm certainly proud atheist/agnostics aren't associated with the types of behaviors most of organized religion has been.

Hey Mr Bush has proven to be a man of rational thought who listens closely to advisers and never lets his religious beliefs taint his vision or job performance.

Compare that to people who would do anything to make the rapture happen in their lifetime and who could care less if we for instance run out of oil in the next 50 years or for any holes in the ozon layer
they influence US middle eastern politics because they need the jews in all of Isreal

We reap what we sow - its kind of self-correction in the long run, which I'll admit has humbled me a jillion times.
