Open Question: Im at a crossroads, i have a decent laptop, and need to decide weather

I have this laptop http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/gate...tag=mncol;psum and my options are between 2 22 inch monitors or 1 40 inch monitor/TV.these are primarily going to be used for gaming. my question is can my 8800 gts (512mb) handle the 40 inch or should i just get the two smaller.In the upcoming summer i will be building a behemoth of a computer that could easily handle either or. but i would like to use my purchase now if possible. Also im using linux ubuntu so i have virtual desktops so real estate for work and school is NOT an issue. i only use windows for gaming.the 40 incher.
