Google Analytics 4 integration

Hi everyone,

Just launched a new website on Soft.io 1 and would like to integrate with GA next. However, it seems that the standard integration expects a universal analytics identifier (for example, UA-etc) instead of GA4.

As far as I can tell, Google no longer allows new Universal Analytics integrations, and since it will be deprecated next year, I would love to start with GA4.

Does anyone have any GA4 integration experience? Is there a way to still use Softr-GA integration by default, or is there a workaround to add a tag to each page, or integrate via GTM instead?

I just set up a GA4 stream for one of my Softr sites and installed it by adding the GTM code snippet manually to the site’s custom code, in the “Code Inside Header” section It’s going to take some hours for data to start showing up in GA4
