final blow? This isn't mortal kombat dude lol. I don't know how much taller you are to the dude but I go for the solarplexus, ribs and sternum but I don't know about hitting him too hard in the sternum because those things have a habit of breaking easy on some people. Body shots are not really a final blow of sorts because of all the mass accumulates there but it is a good place to slow a person down because they have trouble breathing when they have to constantly brace for a blow there.

If your taller then you should have a longer reach...
see how it goes on the night, give him shots to the head, if he is guarding it well then switch to body shots... body shots are cumulative so keep the pressure on if you can, then when he starts to hurt give him some classic combos like jab, hook body hook head (hooks on the same and alternate hands).
Body shots I would personally aim for the floating ribs and solar plexus. (The latter you can turn into an uppercut along his whole midline range)
Since your have height you can rain down on him, but be sure that you cover your own body as that will probably be his main target.
He will find it tough to reach you if you keep ranging him with jabs.
BTW I don't know much about boxing so don't take any of this to heart.
Anyone else agree / disagree with this advice pls let me know ...

Nit, you know what you are talking about.
Jubaji, you hit it on the button…he lacks stamina.
Loin-heart, I’m getting the impression that you fight like Rocky Balboa, a lot of heart, little foot work. It’s difficult for a taller man to go to the body of a shorter man, unless, you are at an angle or your opponent opens up (stands up). However, without any foot movement you wouldn’t be able to get an angle. Try this combo: jab (don’t hurt him), jab (don’t hurt him), upper cut with the lead hand (just enough to straighten his back), step to a 45 degree angle and hook to the body with rear arm.
The jabs have to be in his chest and don’t move him back. You need to control the distance. If you can extend the jab then you won’t be in range for the upper cut. The jab to upper cut is a quick punch. Don’t re-cock your arm. The chest is only 6” from the head. All that you are trying to do is put your glove in his face so that he can’t see you moving into his body. When you hook to the body, walk into him, shoulder to shoulder, this will prevent him from punching you and limit his foot movement.
Can you follow?

Thanks for the reply guys.
But whos tactic shall i deploy. The persons iam fighting is apparently a deadly street fighter.his arms are pretty short but big, strong and powerful. He has more stamina than me but i have got bigger shoulders prolly a stronger punch and height and possible speed advantage.
what his tactic is likely to be is to run up to me and keep swinging blows.shall i just rush him land a right, left, right. then lay a bit back and start boxing.iam worried if i start out with a boxing stance i'll miss the opportunaty to land my blows and he'll tire me out by his.got any more advice guys

Thanks RAB, appreciate feedback...
Lion,
It sounds to me that one of the things you need to work on is your confidence under pressure.
when you are training next find the biggest scriest guy you can and spar with him, Get used to having the tar hit out of you, and get used to working with him pressuring you. If you concentrate on keeping your cool with a big scary guy hammering you then it will be conducive to you remembering how to fight when the adrenaline starts pumping and your opponent takes chase.
One thing that I have been told is react differently to how you are expected to react, if they come after you don't step back, they expect that and know how to deal with it, but if you step into them it will unnerve them as they won't know how to react in that split second.
use everyones tips here, just don't think too much in the ring. work on basics and work on getting them right no matter whats coming at you... if you can relax and not think then you will fight better for it.
floating ribs are on your side, about 1/2 way between your pit and your hip... jab someone in the side with a pen, if they jump up your in the right area. Solar plexus in just below the centre of the ribcage, just above your tummy. if your hit there you can't breath for a while.
sternum is just above that, where the heart is (be careful not to kill em! hit hard and you can palpitate their heart).
Oh and when your in the ring remember:
"YOUR going to win, HE WILL LOSE, it's your right to win, there is NO OTHER OUTCOME and your going to damn well fight him till hes down and DEAD, YOUR PUMPED YOUR READY AND YOUR A WINNER, NOW GO KICK butt and TAKE NAMES! got that soldier?"

well the fight is in three days.Ill definitely tell you guys the result.I could feel the adrenline rush and seem to be dreaming about the guy for the last few days.one time i saw this dream where my punches wherent hurtin him.I think the reason iam scared of the guy is because well everyone makes out as if his tyson.
but most importantly i need to know this.He picks up much more weights than me.Apparently 80-90 kgs and i can barely pick up 45.will that have any influence in the fight.its been the only thing thats been bugging me.Dose picking up more wieghts mean having a heavy punch, thanx.

of course he's going to get the poop beat out of him, sometimes thats the best way to learn...
One way to find your limits is to have a taste of what it's all about, then you can focus on training properly once you recovered.
I did a similar thing years ago where I thought I was lacking in self defense skill even though I had been doing Wado for a good few years (3)... so rather than try to find out what I didn't know in drip feed 1 hour lessons I entered into several tournaments, inter-club and various rules. I got beat within 60 seconds every single fight I had until in one fight I some how managed to face a 3rd Dan TKD guy, he beat the shit out of me very effectively, but I lasted 2 rounds, and in that 120 seconds I managed to score points on him (ok only a few) which he punished me for.
After I recovered I analysed what were my weaknesses and I discussed my fights with the ringside judges...
I came out stronger for it because I then knew exactly where I was lacking AND I knew how to take a pasting.
Lots of training and entery into Local tournaments has seen me getting as far as semi-finals against people with 'more' experience than I, which I see as an achievement in its own right.
Even though Lion doesn't know much about boxing (neither do I) you got to admire his courange in wanting to become a fighter...
