I doubt anyone here was around during the time of Joe Lewis. The only stuff available on Lewis is from old pictures and maybe classic boxing documentaries.

Did Lewis and Marciano ever square off? I think Marciano might have been late 30's and early 40's. I think that match would have been interesting.

I think Ali would win in decision. Louis was one of the greatest but I think Ali would do what he does best and frustrate the heck out of Louis causing him to make mistakes in his own game. As far as Louis-Marciano, that happened Oct 26, 1951 and Marciano KO'd Louis in the 8th round. Marciano was 49-0 w/43 KO's.
