  • Marciano overlooked by many

Whenever you hear someone talk about who the Greatest fighters have been, Marciano's name always pops up, but it's never the first name out of someone's mouth.

The man was 49 and 0 with 43 KO's. He was the only undefeated champion, and he retired on top. The man had a chin that you couldn't break with a sledgehammer, he only got knocked down twice his whole career, and both times he took a knee. The man's back never hit the mat his entire career. And there was stiff competition back then, he wasn't facing these crum bums that around now, and even if he was facing bar fighters from Jersey, never getting knocked down is still a hell of a feat. Now I'll admit I might have a little inferiority complex when it comes to boxing when most of the title holders are either latino or black, and that it makes me feel better when a white guy wins, but c'mon...
