Would Lennox Lewis punish Cro-Cop with his heavy hands? Would Cro-Cop take advantage of his southpaw style and cold-hard kicks to chop down the ex-champ? Remember, K-1 bouts are 3 rounds.
If Lewis gets three months to train knees and kick awareness/defense AND both fighters are in thier prime - I give it to Lewis by decision with Cro-Cop demanding a rematch.
Lewis is the taller fighter and harder puncher with alot of KO's under his belt against tough opponents. Cro-Cop is a former boxer, turned kickboxer/MMA fighter with a pretty mean left cross, extremely hard kick (both legs) and killer instinct.
Weaknesses? Lewis having to deal with Cro-Cops leg power. Cro-Cop taking body shots (remember cro-cop vs Hoost) and dealing with Lewis's reach.
Lewis is unlikely to expose his head for the decisive boot to the head Cro-Cop has pulled off sometimes.
Also, his signature combo is to slip the right cross and body hook/head hook. If he could adapt that to the southpaw, Cro-Cop would have to be very careful of it.
Lewis is likely to take some leg punishment.
I think Lewis is the superior fighter, the question is does he come into the ring prepared to deal with Cro-Cop's legs, or does he underestimate the format and limp home?
