I'd rather fight Bonds, as Morales can take and deliver a hard punch, he's used to fighting, will throw combinations, and probably has a few dirty tricks up his sleeves. I'd rather take Bonds, but if he can bring a bat, hell with that, I'll take my chances with Morales.

Except when he clubs you in the face from one knee and you have no face left... i dunno I really thought everyone would not want to fight bonds.... I guess with him it would be quick though... one punch and then u hit the ground.

Most people are just going for size overall and not experience. Look at Roberto Duran, maybe 135lbs but the man could punch like an animal. Supposedly he knocked out a runaway horse with one punch during a news interview

Bonds is a very strong athlete so wrestling with him would be one helluva challenge. Trying to grapple with someone that big would be tough!

SG, if you've been around fighters long enough you learn how muscular someone is has little to do with their ability to fight well.

Do you watch people golf? I saw a 6' + 300lber try to muscle the ball with no technique and he was driving it about 150 yds, whereas the small guy next to him was sailing it past 220.

Its true that bigger people can generate more power, but skill, speed, stamina and timing have alot to do with it too.

Check out the recent K-1 clip of Kao kicking Mo in the head (and people still argue the effectiveness of head kicks).

Mo is one tough dude; he's a good fighter who came up from toughman circuit. When he worked construction, a house collapsed on top of him and he pulled himself out without damage He's got power too; He's KOd many bigger fighters from K-1.

I said bonds because of the same reasons koto said in his first post. However, since im only like 120 pounds and 15 years old I would get schooled by both of them. its just that If I was 20 and had been grappling for 5 years(which I should be if i keep up with training) then I think beating bonds could be possible. I remember someone saying that some 160 pounds BJJ guy submitted Shaq. Shaq is bigger than bonds, so it seems that an experienced grappler would be able to achieve it. However, we(at least I) dont know if Bonds has any fighting experience. Maybe he used to be on the wrestling team! Maybe he used to be a golden gloves champion! Would if he did both? Well, if that was the case then id go for morales. BTW did anyone see the recent Morales vs Barrera fight? It was a very entertaining fight, where Barrera got the upper hand in some exchanges in the last rounds. Barrera won by close decision.

True, Morales is no longer the champ though I still feel that he is the better fighter. Its only my opinion though, as he did lose to Barrera twice. I'd definitely take Bonds over Morales. Morales fought Barrera in 3 separate 12 round fights. He can keep his cool, and throw wicked combinations with a lot of power for an entire 12 round fight without tiring. He also is a knock-out puncher. How do you beat a guy like that. If Bonds used to be a Golden-glove boxer, people would know. Bonds is a big guy, but theres lots of big guys. Morales is a former professional boxing champion. How many of them do you know? Morales would take Bonds out in about 10 seconds.
