I wonder if Sergio hits hard or if Peter just has a tough jaw. Also, did yall see my boy Alfonso!!! He never ceases to amaze me. Oh yeah, I LOVED how Ishe put on that hat that said "I'M the #1 Daddy" after he beat Anthony.

I wonder if they're going to do this series again....

I think it's the amount of hits the Sergio landed on Peter that really hurt. And then, yeah, I think Peter has a good jaw. It was evident though that Peter was really getting tired but for some reason, everytime the ref breaks the clinch, he's strong again.

Yeah, man, Alfonso was amazing. Heart. They were right.

I didn't see Ishe put on the cap - shoot, I missed that one. I sure hope they have another series next season.

I read in the paper that NBC didn't pick up The Contender for another season... appearently this was it ( unless they bring it back after a 1 year break or something ).
