I too have met a few people on this board (offline) and would like to meet more.

I think Cakegirl said she just wants to be friends and I never heard fom her again...
She was interested at first, then saw my picture and after throwing up 3 times, decided its best that she not think about my face...

I hate those types of gals.. No man needs that kind of stress...

I'm a virgin.
I once got to hold hands with a girl in the 5th grade, but sadly it was forced on her by the teacher.
An exotic dancer once paid me not to ask for a table dance.
I went dancing once. Except I was too scared to go on the floor, so technically I didn't dance but I told everyone that I did to make myself feel better...
I volunteere at the home for the blind. A really cute one wanted to talk with me and asked to touch my face. When she did, she yelled "OH DEAR GOD, IS THIS SOME KINDA JOKE?!?! ARE YOU WEARING A MASK???"

Absolutely! Better safe than sorry. It was pretty obvious when I met this guy that he was a basically good guy that just put his foot in his mouth on the internet because he's still very young though. Last night I got to spar with one of our amatuers- a guy that's looking to turn pro some time soon. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot- with the exception of my previous teachers he's far and away the fastest guy I've ever worked with. It's always great to get a chance to work with someone that has you outclassed that way because it really shows you what you need to focus on. One point that has been made loud and clear to me is that I need to work on my foot work big time.

That's awesome Sag, how did you fare as far as him landing punches and you landing punches?

Well, he was in there to teach me so a lot of it was him showing me when I was leaving myself open, or when he could easily put me off balance or showing me where he was vulnerable. I landed lots of shots, and was able to stop his shots once I picked up on what was going on but he was making it a point to let me succeed whenever I learned the lesson he was trying to teach. I think I did extremely well because I learned a lot, but the reason I learned so much is that I was working with someone that was a lot better than me. I still have a tendency to crowd my punches, which is a direct result of the fact that I've been taught to use punches to set up throws and take downs that (naturally) have no place in boxing. That's probably the biggest adjustment that I've had to make so far.
