The only fighter I've seen fight, except for Jeff Fraza, is Ebo Elder. Anyone else seen these fighters?

Grady Brewer has been in with some names like Jermain Taylor, Peter Manfredo Jr. and Kelly Pavlik. He's good, but usually loses to the top guys...always plays the spoiler role.
Cornelius Budrage was undefeated until he lost to undefeated prospect Sechew Powell a few months ago in an awesome fight that lasted only 1 round with both fighters tasting the canvas!
Rudy Cisneros was a big amateur star, but got ko'd in the first round once....very talented kid though.
Steve Forbes & Micheal Stewart are solid guys. Both have had a couple shots at the title, but both have lost the big fights.....I think Stewart got ko'd by Ricky Hatton.
There are a few other guys on there that have had title shots as well, so all in all a pretty talented group. The vast majority are unknown, so they should get some good exposure on the show....

I agree. I give it up to the 2 of them. Although it sucks to lose, if I were Rudy he can definitely look at the fight knowing he left it in the ring. I'm kind of glad that Sly isn't in the picture. His comments during the fights were HORRIBLE! Another thing great about the Contender on ESPN is that it plays multiple times!

I love contender..i am such a sucker for it...they edit it well to get you emotionally involved in the fight...i have watched three of the new season so far and i am never without yelling and screaming at the laptop screen and strangling my pillow.

I prefer the old format though..where both teams compete on a task and whoever wins will decide the fight (i guess they were trying to save on costs so cut that out huh)..this one is so strategic....each one will of course try to pick the easiest route to win as oppose to before...you basically got what you got and no choices about it when you get into the final 8.

The usual comment goes about how little of the fight they show...i wana see the full blown she-bang man!!! Not just the emotional bit about them doing it for their families (it does pull my heartstrings though)....Its about 90% emotions and 10% fite...boo hoo!!! but its still good all the same.

As anyone seen the third episode so far? I wana talk about it but dont wana give anything away!
