  • I'm new at boxing...

I'm new at boxing...I've recently started sparrng at my JKD place. The thing is, the very front of my left bicep is very sore following this, and I don't think it's the tendon.

I'm pretty sure it's from having the 12 oz gloves on for over an hour at a time, and all the jabbing that I do.

Any recommendations, training techniques or excircises that can solve my problem would be appreciated.

Are your muscles just sore because you've been working them harder than they're used to or are you actually injured?

Thanks guys, it's gone away, and I've put a lot of time into boxing and sparring since then and it has not come back. Guess I just never used the muscle like that before.
