      ..actually-expanding here...

You can find out, from doing martial art's, that there is no real need to continue doing them.

We learn to accept our emotion's(maybe only I was taught all this emotional stuff_Hmmn ) of Mad Glad Sad and Scared. I realised I was just scared of the bogeyman...and whilst I still am...I realise that that's all it is and -Just to avoid him is the answer.

I have now accepted that feeling and now I can move on. If I feel I need to do some more to help me Just In Case- then I will.

So: this is what they mean by everyone get's a different meaning from the martial art's.

The feeling's/emotion's are alway's there- but atleast I can think properly now rather than being swamped by them-...

        still expanding...

        They gave me confidence.

I would recommend them (CMA) for any scared young kid having a rough time at school. As long as they understand the secret_ You don't fight...ever.

        You defend yourself.

I was told this directly by a Sihing: They give you the confidence not to have to fight: To see the option...and be able to walk away!

        Very Enlightening.

          How-

by showing you how to annihilate one's opponent so much so that they need a gang of idiot's to chase you down...SO

"Never be foolish enough to ever let anyone know what you know".

LIVE by that and you will be confident..and not have to prove yourself in a fist fight against a bunch of dickhead's who hate their own live's and so want you to hate your's aswell...

          COMPRENDE

another way of saying the same thing...(?!)

is you realise not to bother...there are other people there with the same thought's as you..drama's ...ego's...like's and dislike's...but could easily kick your ass...and they are smaller than you or whatever- so it help's reinforce the reason why you shouldn't get too shirty at the pub...believe it or not- this build's confidence .

Great this is wonderful!! Just what I needed! My Si-hing had to change his job and now he can't give WT lessons anymore! So this means I can't do kungfu anymore and no kungfu means no training and no training means i'm gonnaget my ass kicked!

                  Learn to avoid

What I can understand is Bbbb mentioned something like:

[We learn to accept our fear (scared) of someone (bogeyman) that threatens us and we need to learn to just avoid him. We learn to defend ourselves by avoiding a fight. The feeling of fear will remain in you, but it is important that we can think properly rather than being swamped by the feeling.

If we feel we need to do some more to help ourselves (just in case), however, then we can go on practicing.

Thus, it is said that everyone has a different purpose of learning martial arts.]

Well, I think they are good points. It is said, “study never ends” and “success is not a destination, but a process”.

                      Why not!

He ... he ... he ... Enzo, it is a good point indeed.

But perhaps many people will think it is a waste of ... time and energy. Perhaps it is better for them to use the time to do college's assignment, to earn more money, to meet friends, or just to enjoy their coffee over a tv soap opera. Perhaps some people will think it silly to approach a possibility of getting bruises and sprains. Perhaps ... perhaps ... perhaps ...

That's why I asked the question why. Thanks for your response.
