If you want quick results learn MT, its straightforward art and its easier 2 learn then WC.
The only reason you shouldn’t chouse MT is if you have weak bones.

WC will take you longer 2 learn plus they don't use lags much, mostly for blocking. Their hand techniques are impressive but they don’t compensate for little footwork. I did hear however that there is a lineage different to Yap Mans, which does have footwork like most kungfu styles, but I never encountered it.


At the end of the day, your dedication and determination will determine how good you will get at any MA.

i think you can learn WingChun fast if you have a better IQ or you are born bright and intelligent person...... cause most of the movements have meanings and applications, plus an exact understanding.....

Toudiyama, if you have a higher IQ, you have the possibility to be a better fighter if you choose the right KungFu art to fit yourself.... compatible to yourself........ that even a supersonic jet plane you can do it fly while seems impossible to the unlearned.......

you can discover your another greatest moves with regards to fighting...... just open your mind and learn kungfu with all of your heart........

Or waste my time on arts claiming superiority but never wanting to prove it, socalled out of fear of exposing their secrets

My IQ helps me not to waste time on an Art claiming superiority over all others but that is broken up the most because of politics ( tell me one MA style that has more than 3 associations without politics being involved)

Last week I saw that there was a seminar in my town of Wing Tjun, I found that it is headed by a guy claiming 7th grade, even though he was only 2nd grade when he left Wing Tsun less than 3 years ago, using practicaly the same logo
My IQ told me to investigate and then not to waste my time on this

My IQ prefers an art with descibtive names which they call techniques, movements and combinations, instead of alphabets, no matter what language, as long as they describe the move, strait, hook, reverse punch, sliding outside block or a cross

I am just prefer to use Alphabets in a sparring rather than using Forms as an attack in a sparring.......

since Alphabets for me is better compare to Forms.......
