The "Kip up" or "Chinese Get-Up" can be performed a few different ways, depending on your ability and which one is most comfortable.
To practice, get on your back, tuck your knees to your chest, and place your hands by your ears. Start a slow rocking motion, a simple three count works best, and on three, kick your legs out diagonally fowards and to the sky. If you have enough momentum, you can do it by this alone. However, if not, use your hands to push and propel your upper torso forward while tucking your feet underneath you to land.
It might take a while to grasp the concept, but with practice, you'll be doing it in no time .
