  • Internal training advice??

Looking for some advice on Internal teachers in the S.F. bay area or videotapes. I have been studying Yang family Tai Chi for years and years, I'm interested in expanding my knowledge of the Chinese Internal arts. Any suggestions on Pa Kua, Hsing-I, or Chen style Tai Chi teachers in the Bay Area, or any great video tapes that a experienced person might be able to learn from.

Hey Chris - did we speak yesterday at the Senshido seminar? I saw so many people I've only spoken to once or twice that I can't put the names to the faces?

Thanx Chris, That certainly narrows my options as far as local teachers. The problem I have is that no one wants to teach pa'kua or Hsing-i until you/ve learned their style of Tai Chi. I understand, but I have no desire to learn another version of Yang Tai Chi. Any Videos you would recomend on Pa kua or Hsing-i----

what a strange state of affairs!!

              never mind.

              Video wise -

Su dong chen's videos are excellent for fighting concepts and skills. His style is ba gua and hsing i - although he calls it the Essence of Evolution.
He can be found here - http://www.evolutionary-systems.com/

Also the video's mike patterson puts out are very good by all accounts.
              found here - http://www.evolutionary-systems.com/

The videos by Luo De Xiu are apparantly some of the best out there. I have heard very good things about them - he is a very skilled guy.

              I hope this helps,

              Kindest Regards.

              Chris
