        in order for the Human Dummies to understand, it must be explained it detailed by detailed that even a Grade-1 Section-11 can simply understand.......

          For once I agree with you. Low kicks make far far more sense than high ones. And even they should be rare.

            I have to agree there as well. Those low kicks do generate more power in a short range. Maybe since at such a range the kick is thrusted still by the weight of the person kicking. Rather than a high kick that depends on the just the momentum of the leg itself.

              Gravity has ot be overcome with a high kick, and that not only means you cannot use it, overcoming it eats up your power.

                Low kicks are better strategy, but not necessarily more powerful. Not true about TKD having to kick high all the time.

                The better TKD fighters use leg checks to block mid level kicks. They can kick body level pretty hard too. Since most TKD fighters do not train low kicks, they don't do them with great power and cannot defend them.

                  H2H's Chocolate Chip Cookies

                  4kg butter
                  1 roll of cookie dough
                  2 cups chocolate chips
                  3kg sugar

                  Slam cookie dough on sheet. Slam butter on top. Launch chocolate chips on mix. throwdown sugar on mix. place welder mask over face, ignite torch....

                      low kicks are more powerfull but the higher targets are more vulnerable aren't they?

                      what do you think does more damage. Crocop kicking your leg or him kicking your head?

                      only adressing power here, because one is more vulnerable during high kicks

                        Sherwinc: That's what the whole idea is; Simple but effective. Its harder to mess it up if its simple, and if its effective and simple it probally wont fail you when you nead it most.

                          in kicking, the lower the kick - the better.......
                          Not really. The most powerful place a kick can come from is hip level. Since that's your center and all your power is generated there, it's the strongest area.

                            I agree that power can be generated there. But why should that translate int the kicks performed at that level being the most powerful?
