Most people only know a small part of the features of the software they use to begin with let alone change a mobo

Oh the TV will last 5-8 years before it becomes slightly outdated, a PC 2-3 years, no problems with virusinfections either or BSODs, HDs that give up after 1,5 years of use

Like the PC your KF has become outdated, because you forgot to do one thing.....upgrade, instead of accepting no system is perfect and can always use an upgrade, you think your system is already perfect and therefor aren't even willing to use the TVout of your system to connect it to your widescreen TV because you do not want to interact with other systems, instead you insist your 600 peso speakerset will produce the same results as my standalone dolby surround HiFiset

This is why MMA is the best attainable, there you will find interaction, yhus testing all the time, if it doesn't work they get rid of it, if it does. others will start to use it too
    Expecting Unexpected.......

my Intel Pentium II 350 mhz is still on its topnotch.......

    why?????

cause i have a pirated cd installer of:
    1. Norton Antivirus 5.0
    2. Win 3.1, Win98Second Edition
    3. Almost all installers of my PC times - i have CDWRite all of them cause when 10 years come i still have my back-up CD Installer.......

i have also an Intel Pentium IV 1.8 Mhz and all the software, OS and programs found in my 1st old computer is also installed on my new computer.....

backup of softwares is what i prioritized....... cause i treat it like a martial arts......

and the most important thing of all is......

a Personal Computer (kungfu) here in our place can earn a lot of money for Desktop Publishing, Word Processing, Photo Editing, business business business....... within 1 year, my income can buy again another personal computer (kungfu)

while your Sony Television (nonkungfu) is eating a lot of electric current and wasting money for your bill - like the commercialized non-kungfu arts of yours.....

So your KF is a stealing art taking techniques from others without any training in them

i have also an Intel Pentium IV 1.8 Mhz and all the software, OS and programs found in my 1st old computer is also installed on my new computer.....
so like your MA your PC is outdated when it comes to applications

backup of softwares is what i prioritized....... cause i treat it like a martial arts......
Yeah backups from somebody else, which still is theft

and the most important thing of all is......

Not My TV but my Xerox will make that money in a no time, it doesn't need intensive (extra)training to operate

I take it you are already making money with your PC? No how come, are you a fool or something, it's easy money.....Yeah right, it take sometime to become proficient in DTP and there isn't much money in wordprocessing ( since almost anyone has a PC these days)
Photoediting won't make you rich either, people do that themselfs nowadays, Printing/copying is what still makes some money and not your homeprinter either but Large Format Printing or other kinds of specialised printing demanding extra equipment

funny though that you compare a Pc that makes Money with non commercial KF and the device that doesn't with commercialised KF

But again you don't seem to get it....if you need one funtion, all the rest might be nice but, I don't need them
In MA the one thing we need is fightingabilities, the rest which KF seem to teach, we don't need them
Now maybe you think you need them, that's fine, but than accept that someone focussing all his training on this aspect, will be better at that aspect because you have to devide your time between all the aspects
No metaphore will change that, it is a fact
We do not stand on bottles, plumflowerposts, chairs, tables, busses or trains, you claiming it is more likely to happen is utter BS, so doing a lot of it as if it is fighting is also utter BS, it will train your balance but so will sparring and on top of that, sparring will train you full speed, practicing a form on top of posts or a table just won't, ask anyone else here what they think about that

MERGING is the correct term and not STEALING.....

        why?????

cause Chi Dian Bun is a pure Chi Dian Bun KungFu with its only first set pattern of Beng Hu Ha Shan .... until then the Hik Tai Chi Chuan merged to Chi Dian Bun.... so, Chi Dian Bun's second set pattern up to its last set pattern is a combination of HikTaiChiChuan KungFu and ChiDianBun KungFu.....

when it comes to selling items.....
piracy of selling items here in the our country is very high.......

for example.... you can by a Nokia 3310 here for only 2,500 pesos, and in some of the store here is as cheaper as i mention......

        did you get my point?????

        now....

when it comes to Win98 Operating systems
the licensed price is 5,000 pesos, while if you only buy it in the malls here its pirated price is 150 pesos only.......

i hope you get my point...... Licensed and Pirated are only the same - it depends on how you care for it......

but in the field of martial arts.....
it is Karate, Tae Kwon Do who steal techniques from KungFu

the reason why my instructor said..... "do not show off your art in public, cause they will only get your technique and claimed it them"

        Very true......

but it is still fast as before in its prime......

be sure to know the techniques of the program/software/os faq in order to speed up applications to meet the needs.......

and i can still have an income of it even thou outdated.....

None of which is equal to fighting on a table or plumflowerpost, I too will use anything availlable as a weapon, you don't have a patent on that
You get me wrong, I'm not saying Ringfighting is the end, it's just another way of testing but the most effective way of doing so
Lets face it even if you are limited in the attacking techniques, you are not when it comes to defences, the other party shouldn't be able to touch you

As far as not showing the techniques to others, what prevents me from entering a school soley with the intend to combine it with my own art? Yours is not the only Ngo Cho Kun/Wu zi quan school in the world

I have experience in both TMA and Ring arts, and know none is perfect, all have their flaws, pitty the 2 camps don't see this, ring arts are more offence based so more suited for fighting instead of selfdefence, TMAs lack the contact that makes sparring far more real so they don't know how to take a hit

            True, True and youre right.......

            thats it....
            1. Bob Ross
            2. Bella Bodo
            3. Anton Gutkneckt

i learn their techniques and combined them...... and that the way i did too on my KungFu - i combined all types.......

the same thing i did it on my softwares on PC installed:
            1. Coreldraw9
            2. Adobe PageMaker7
            3. Windows Commander
            4. Print Artist
            5. etc... etc.... plenty of pirated installed yet my system didnt hang-up, its on the way how you configured..... a combination of every program,software.....

            NOte:
whether KungFu, Paintings, PC softwares......... the only thing i did is:
"Absorb What is Useful, Reject What is Useless, Add Especially What is My Own"

I remember this one time in grade 5 in the gym changeroom. I'd just started karate (since that's all they had in my area at the time, that's all changed now) and this bully who'd been studying karate for a few years was in the changeroom punching and kicking and generally harassing people, and everyone was ignoring it and taking it from him. Then this one kid, the bastard that he was, yelled out when the bully got to him "hey, [insert my name here] takes karate!" and the bully said, "oh yeah? come on, show me your karate hotshot" and started to come and kick and punch me. I blocked his kicks and punches without too much trouble, and i don't know why i did this next part but it worked . I started to do a mock old-time irish boxing stance that made him laugh, then i front snap kicked him square in the nuts and he went down like a sack of wrenches.. the place went completely quiet and i knew that if i stayed another second, everyone in there would gang on me just so they wouldn't later get beat up by the bully, so i finished changing and ran the hell out of there.... he never bothered me or anyone in that class again

2 private student of mine, used a sequence I had instructed them

left jab, right strait, right lowkick, grab his left arm with your right hand and pull it down and then left elbow t the face
One used it and knocked his opponent cold
The other used it but intensionally ( I instructed him to do something like that) stopped the elbow, an inch in front of the opponents face, and told him to never bother/bully him again or else he wouldn't stop, the guy never bothered him again

                  thus....

MuayThai, Karate, Boxing, TaeKwonDo, all non-kungfu, is all defeated by a KungFu..........

Careful sherwinc, If i'm correct you said that you'd never sparred against anyone into Muay Thai. I promise you if you went into the ring with a thai boxer, your chances of a victory would be slim, even with his gloves on and that is in regards to americans who study muay thai. Don't even think of talking that sh!t in Thailand.

true, i never sparred against a Muay Thai.... but i do believe that Foreigners have a great advantages compare to Filipinos cause we are only normally 5'3" in height......

just like me, my height is 5'9" and every one here frequently says that i am very very tall...... and the reason why i have the advantages within my kungfu classmates cause they are all mostly 5'2" in height......

but a 5'9" of height is a smaller height when it comes to Western Countries.....

Sherwinc. you are hilarious. you could fill a bathtub with the amount of shit your sphincter lets you squeeze onto these threads.

my favorite of your points: people win and lose fights based on height. one of my training buddies is from the phillipines, and he looks like and shares the height of an ewok from return of the jedi. I wouldn't be lying if i said he was the most dangerous person i know, next to carl cestari, and damian ross (who are also short).

most of you must know my stance on the idiocy of relying on martial arts forms for effectiveness in real-life situations (and i'm not referring to the bully you had in junior high), but really sherwinc, you have diarreha of the mouth. the more you talk, the more you reveal yourself as being a loudmouth pussy who watches way too many action films.

don't get the wrong idea though, sherbies. keep it up. your antics bring a smile to my face. keep fighting the good fight, sweetie pie. keep us up to date on all the big, tough guys you mangled with your keen kung fu skills.

                        Sherwin,

If your in the phillipines then why not prove your art against Doce Pares.

Doce pares fighters are not allowed by cacoy canete to refuse a challenge fight.

I'm sure he and other escrimadors would be grateful to be enlightened before they waste any more time playing escrima when they could be learning Kung Fu.

Some good escrimadors learn Kung Fu... There are a few very good kung fu schools in the Philippines and they earned their reputation on the streets... I don't even talk of the kuntao fighters from the deep south....

Concerning the funniest technique, I was once in Ermita (Manila former red light district)........ one guy in the street insulted me and I decided to have a dance with him... he tries to throw one of those silly tkd jumping kicks but misses and slips on the floor (it had rained before), lands on his back and hits the floor... it was all kickly over afterwards....
