  • Creating an Iron Body using kungfu exercises

I have been watching DVD of Austin Goa who did some breathing stuff and moved his hands up and down. Then these guys placed bricks on this stomach and his student smashed the bricks to pieces with a hammer.

How did he achieve iron body ? I think Austin is a good kungfu fighter but is it really possible to create a body of iron ?

Please tellme exercises i need to do to achieve iron body

I think what your referring to is the Shaolin Monks, which ironicly their teachings and techniques are shrowded in secrecy yet also perform their abilitys publicly. The ' 18 Hands of Lohan ' is there excercises/forms your looking for, from my experiance these do work and you don't need any instructor let alone a master to see results but some self discipline and common sense is needed. I'm sure many could argue and dismiss the fact that this is the one thing i'm self taught in but i can put my head through wooden boards, hands through boards, smash tree's with my shin and break big logs. These meditation sequences really give some astounding results and if you were to find a instructor on this or a master to teach you on the Shaolin ways i can only imagine the results will be mind boggling.

It's not just Chinese martial arts either, many karateka can do feats similar to this as well.

You break tree with knee and three times tree with log with dog convinced. I beat your tree with tree of Sea from far away convinced?

Iron body only found in real Kung Fu not fake Kung Fu. Karate like fake Kung Fu where you hit with body not with stool not stool to sit but shit convinced. Austin Goh is a merry old soul with real Kung Fu is no ones fool but you not do the Karate like Mule and Dog is log convinced.

        Note:

Tree break with Karate only ratio of 22-2, whereas real Kung Fu beat tree with 3.

Holy shit, how did you train to smash trees ?. Please tellme what training programme do you use ?.

I think Austin Goh can also smash bricks with his fists, head and also does 1 inch punch and knocks people flying. Wish i could do that.

My bad, notice how i said break logs and didn't say break tree's, i'm not that damn good, i meant to say, i smash my shins against the tree, conditioning them, and no i've never ' smashed ' a tree, just logs. Which ofcourse is no amazing achievement i know, i was just sharing my experiances of Shaolin type concept mind sets/meditation.

One of the methods to develop 'iron shirt' at James Mcneills school was to beat the lower body with a stick (maybe you can get your girlfriend to do this sure you'd love it ) together with chi kung exercises and tieing weights to your private parts which apparently strenghtens the internal organs.

The whole concept is flawed. No one will let you stand still while they take pot shots at your torso. They will smack you in and around the head and jaw. And those arears cannot be toughened up.

                      Iron head?? Iron jaw??

                      uhhh....knock yourself out

Strengthen your neck and chewing muscles (jaw). Don't walk around hitting yourself on the jaw with a piece of iron!

You can strengthen your neck from neck bridges and from a neck press machine. It is a machine found at gyms, used mostly by football players and wrestlers. You can move your head against a padded lever that can adjust for different levels of weight.

The goal: Strengthen your neck to reduce the impact of your brain when your head snaps from an impact.

Jaw strengthening: You can chew on thick gum or bite down on something pliable. The idea is to strengthen your jaw so that if it gets knocked around, it can resettle. There are nerves around the jaw that cause you to get KOd - nothing you can do about it - but you can make your jaw more solid. Someone with a weak jaw will get their jaw knocked out of place more easily. Learned this the hard way

I've always wondered, if you lose your face in war or something, could you replace your face with iron and then enter the UFC?

There is some ancient training that you can apply nowadays but with modern equivalents. Get yourself a cinder block and a bench, and put the block on a bench and stand in front of it. Then you hit your head on the forehead, sides, the top, and back of the head 50 times each to start, 100 times after three months, and 200 times after a year.

As for your jaw, stand in a strong sideways stance with your elbows locked into your sides and your arms out at a 45 angle from our body, fists, abs, and butt tightly clenched like you're forcing out a big turd. Then have a buddy with a baseball bat or club of some type (wood to start but after a year you can use aluminum) rap you in the jaw with the bat 20 times on each side to start, 50 after three months, and 100 times after a year. You'll be the toughest dude on the block if you do those.

breaking boards, bricks and ice is not really that hard.

The breaking of a brick with a hammer is all physics, No body will let you hit them with the sledge hammer, they want you to hit the brick because when it breaks it acts as a shock absorber.

Lying on swords is also similar, as long as you lie on them and don't slide or slip you don't get cut.

it's all tricks and such, but it looks impressive.
