WT clips from a WT club in Manchester... If you want to become unbeatable, untouchable, invisible, etc., this is for you
Go there and you'll find why your RBSD, fence, shredder, etc. can't compete with this ultimate street martial art

    i hope you aren't serious
the clip of bruce lee, sure he's either doing chi sao or pak sao, but that was taki kimura in that clip, meaning.......JUN FAN! not wing tsun.

Those german VT's dont know what wing chun is, there is not gentle grace with the strikes and do not protect their own centerline.Furthermore all their techniques are sloppy, their arm has no "ging", no power, just brute strength.

I can't see all the clips, but that Victor Gutierrez looks good to me. It isn't like any Wing Tsun that I have seen, and looks much more like Combatives (knees, elbows, head butts etc), but credit where credit is due. Theres even MMA in there, including body pinning and ground and pound. Not VT, but good.

The older demos (at the end of one of the clips) look more like WT, and are correspondingly cack.

              Like who?

And beating up "traditional martial artists" is hardly anything to brag about. Its a bit like a Pro Football player bragging about beating up on a 3 year old girlie.

that's great an all, but i haven't seen them ask paul vunak for a challenge match yet either

note 1-If you agree on my statement, why do they associate with WC?
note 2-this is 2004, give me some recent figures mate.Nobody's going to admit to any losses.
note 3-they should do their art properly or not at all-words from Ip Man, liberator of WC

A very bold statement to say the least
Never read any challenge in the magazines (I read US, UK and dutch magazines), I suppose it was limited to germany?
Or was it by invitation, maybe? ( like the clip with the wrestling coach)

Uh, looks like wingy to me. Chi Sao drills, chain punches, there is nothing there that isn't wing chun.

that's what I meant. WT was launched by beating up karate, judo, kung fu guys, mainly in Germany and Italy. Some muay thai fighters like vice World Champion Stefano Ricci started WT in the early 1990s. Vunak is not a traditionalist. He also claimed to have creamed a WT practitioner (a good one, but he won't tell the name...)
But WT people never challenged complete fighters, like for example Marco Ruas or some other Brazilians at ease with striking and very good at groundfighting...
As far as I've seen, German WT is the best Traditional Martial Art, but it's not good to beat MMA fighters
