Why am I not surprised to see so many childish remarks? Its easy to deflect words with a smart mouth--try deflecting a knife that way. In fact those words would be a fist magnet if he had the balls to talk like that in the real world, but we already established that he doesnt.

Well it certainly sounds like you know quite a bit more than me about street fighting. Perhaps you should share some more of your wisdom with me.
Well first off, the "subject's worth" must be great enough for you to get upset over. And secondly we're talking about people putting posts on the internet, not the Pope. And again, you go back to your law enforcement influenced jargon. We're not talking about setting up a stake-out, Starksky. We're talking about trying to prove whether it is possible for more than one person share the same IP address. Why don't you ask where there school is and find out more from there? I'm sure you can at the very least confirm a place's existence via the telephone....and by the way, what REAL martial artist is afraid of stalkers?

As far as streetfighting school is concerned, the doors are open, come on over....ENLIGHTENED ONE.

This is going to sound a like a "tender moment"...

You know, I really must add my 2.567 cents here... When I first logged in here and started posting, I was dogged by Jubaji. For seemingly the first month, I couldn't say anything w/o having to deal with his negative comments. I went through the same steps as most people do when they first encounter him. I tried communicating with him and was perplexed by his reaction. I then tried butting heads with him, and had the success as everyone else. I accused him, as do all others, of being the one-line wonder and was angered by his one-line retort. I tried ignoring him, but his bullhorn happens to be louder than my muffle can hide.

Finally, over time I really began to appreciate his comments. I really felt a rat in a maze, trying to find the end. Every time the rat takes a wrong turn, Jubaji was there to zap me. Extremely frustrating at the time, but it prevented me from running down the wrong way, and I found the way out a lot sooner. He's not here to annoy people, rather in his own way he's ensuring that intelligent discussions take place and that people's claims are well organized, intellectually sound, and true.

                CONCLUSION:

(Now I feel like I'm at an AA meeting) It's been several months since my last Jubaji critique and I feel through his "guidance" it's actually made me a better poster. My posts now (I hope) are clear, concise, understandable, and contribue to the discussion. Life is about looking at yourself, realizing and admitting you are wrong and adpating to make the necessary changes. Jubaji has a gift. If you cannot recognize the intellect behind what he is telling you then you seriously need to analyze how prideful and selfish your life has become. Humble yourself before the Jub Jub bird, and shun your frumious ways! (cross between Lewis Carroll and Gospel Preacher)

My family style is Hao Chuan, However I teach fma, trapping and blade concepts, and silat and dumog both get thier fair share of attention. Mongolian wrestling and non-traditional kendo round out the internal arts and hopefully keep you safe until the internal arts "set in" so to speak. I have been studying combatives since childhood, brought up in a family of warriors so before I was aware it was monkey see monkey do. In my kindergarden picture I have a crew cut and I'm wearing an airforce uniform complete with name tag. I never remember decideing when this was going to be my life, it just is.
Dad was the h2h insructor at Dirty fighting school on Hurlbert field (1st Air Commando). So I got the real deal fighting that I spent the last 25 years trying to reintegrate into the formal arts. Gotta have somewhere to hide yousr skills. I get a kick out of poking people so I use alot of Taiji to hide it in. Hence my smartass comments. Plus I like to see who is paying attention. This isnt everything but i think you get the idea.

That's the thinking outside the box philosophy that we all should aspire to.

Personally I feel Jubaji is welcome here. He helps make you think your opinions through more thoroughly, he causes the inflated egos of the younger guys to go down, and on the rare occasion he is pretty amusing. He's been critical of mine and others' posts, but when it comes down to it he's not bad at all. He's all right in my book.

                            Quite amazing.

I hope your martial arts are better than your manners. New posters come in here and make rude comments to people who have been here for a long time.

My suggestion is you learn some manners and worry less about other posters and more about your own conversations.

It is possible that you all are different people as IP addresses identify the computer on the network.

It really doesn't matter, if I ban a person I ban the IP address first. So it really doesn't matter.

So if you are all different posters I suggest you police yourselves otherwise you may find that access to the forum is lost of everyone from the computer.

If you have a problem with a particular post report it and I will look into it. But if it is simply to say someone is being mean to me, grow up.

I am a newbie here. I am beginning to understand that jubaji seems to annoy a lot of people, and does it purposefully to get a reaction. It works--he definitely has gotten reactions! I do believe it was jubaji who started with the rude comments to the new people. "................. " and "Idiot " seem pretty rude to me. However, I am learning that you just have to ignore those comments that have no relation to the thread, don't really contribute to the discussion, and in general are just designed to distract you.
