Sleeper agents??

Okay, this thread could go into any these forums here, it really doesn't fit anywhere, and it is probably a dumb question, but I am curious anyways.

Are there such things as like brainwashed "sleeper agents," like highly-trained assassins or whatever that are brainwashed and hypnotized so that they live their life but then can be "activated" to do their specific job through like a song or something, by the government??

Cuz I know hypnosis is real, but I don't know if it is THAT real, if you get what I mean. And I know brainwashing is real in the sense that you can raise children to be like USA-hating terrorists and such, but trained adults I don't know if you could brainwash them at all.

So does anyone think or know if such a thing is/could be real, or are those kinds of agents only in the movies?

I heard that there are 'sleepers' in the US who go about thier daily lives and then become activated by certain stimuli and then become terrorists.

They are brain washed and hypotonised into thinking that they have a mission to accomplish and a certain trigger is added to trigger biological actions.

that is not how hypnosis works. A person will not do anything that they would not do in normal life. So you could not hypnotise a pacifist and make them a killer.
The goofy stage shows use highly hypnotisable people and group effect to do the shows. Only about 20% are highly hypnotisable if even that.
