Looking at Today's K-1 organization, muaythai fighters have done really well for themselves. They have fought against other muay thai fighters, boxers, kyokushin karate champs and even talented Taekwondo fighters. The majority of the outcomes have been victory, allthough really talented fighters have had excellent wins against them or some extremely strong and huge athletes. The results speak for themselves.
Wingchun has yet to enter this competition. I'm not saying wc is totally useless. Just saying that there's got to be someone good enough to get the art into K-1 and show that it can compete against resisting, spontaneous opponents at the professional level.
I'm not saying just because wc doesn't have any clips its useless. I'm talking about established professional pure wc fighters in either K-1 or even a lesser MMA organization.
