          protest

These are different protest, some were supposedly farmers, some ex-spies who were not recieving benefits etc. no matter the cause none of the police responses were even close to civilized human behavior, never mind the higher standards that should be expected of law enforcement by our supposed allies. note many protesters were seated and unarmed (Shirts off to show this) when set upon, its clear from the videos many did not survive these attacks. As usual each side tells a different story..this link will take you to a south korean site that claims these people were armed with flamethrowers etc (I saw few armed protesters in clips) certainly many of those attacked were unarmed, some attacked from behind...http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread/t-93669.html
if someone can read the captions please translate for the rest of us.

                True

They do protest alot but then things appear to be in severe need of change. Anywhere people are treated like this they ought to protest(understatement).

well if i was there, i wouldent be there id run why were so many korean civilians unnarmed? surely they knew they would lose? and the outcome would be this. atleast bring guns those korean police had no projectile weapons at hand (i didnt see them if they did).

but yeah i felt sorry for a few people who were cowering, no need to beat a downed man posing no threat, disshonorable behaviour.
