  • Weapon Forms

I was just wondering what school has decided on making a pistol or rifel form.
I believe the next step in kung fu evolution is to make a form for these weapons and to make a counter for it.
    What do yuo guys think?

There is a good movie about this called "Equilibrium", basically there they created a form for a (pistol) based on most optimal positions at which you can hit target without been hit yourself.

Good movie. Christian Bale stars in it.

This would certainly be the best way to learn firearms. Every police department should spend 15 minutes each day doing firearm kata out in front of the station before roll call. Throw in some high kicks, cross steps and lots of kia's and you got something there.

I've seen it before. Mostly military personnel though. Sometimes referred to as Gun Fu. I can't say where I've seen it, but I have. And yes complete with the high kicks and kias. Not sure about cross steps though.
