exactly its a gradual proccess you cant just start punching shit really hard lol, when you start it should be at a young age for one, but you can do it when your growing up still, start light dont push over your condition limits and they will improve as time goes by, and you must use dit da jow rub it into the area you condition you can make your own from basic herbs and alchohole look it up on google or something.
conditioning has great benefits if done correctly,
conditioning has horrible effects on your joints and bones if done incorrectly,

i see benefits and drawbacks from bot starting young and starting as an adult, childrens undeveloped bones are risky to condition its true it can mess a child up but!, if its done correctly and subtle as a child you will progress further and be stronger than if you start late, but waiting fo the bones to mature is usually the safe bet with conditioning but i think to do it as a child correctly has its benefits aswell as waiting for the body to mature and develop.

and with the whole conditioning subject, alot of schools and mcdojos like to break stuff dont they, rebreakable boards lol and shit with spacers, i dont do any of that, the only times ive broken bricks blocks or wood is when friends or people have waged money that i couldent, infront of a few people just casual fun breaking, but i dont break the things i condition on or even try to break them. one of the things i use to condition my forearms, palms, shoulders, and legs is this huge tree near where i live its an ancient thick barked old thing and i couldent possibly break that, when im conditioning my palm strikes on the tree i do sometimes visualise the tree breaking or cracking but i do this kind of thing alot in training, or even when im fighting i visualise the fight as already won, but obviously never underestimate opponents. but i think that bieng posative and always visualising progress victory and determination is key.
