Many years ago... Back in the late 1970's my brother and I used to play with steel traps. You know the inhumane type with the spring activated steel jaws that snap closed when you trip the paddle?

...How fast do you think your knife technique is? If you can swipe your knife through and trip the trap without catching your blade then why not your hand?

Okay... that was fun, now try a thrust and retract. It's not as quick because it stops going one way and comes back on the same path.... But you can trip it and get out without catching the blade, eh? Why not your fingers (spear hand)?

Two techniques to trip a trap and if you're fast enough to get out of the jaws before they close, no harm done!

Next level... hang it from a branch, spin it. Hang it from a bungee cord and weight it so it bounces and spins...

Did I mention we lived in the sticks?

PLEASE don't try this crazy shit with your bare hands!
why didnt you mention catching arrows from a compound bow in your teeth at the same time? Geesh man, give the whole exercise or dont bother... only doing half the exercise is childs play!!

Of course it's child's play, you don't think an adult would be stupid enough to try it?

LOL We didn't have a compound bow but we did have a little pistol type crossbow that shot those short bolts...

We also used to play with knives. Mom always told us not to but did we listen? If you live in a primitive log cabin you don't really worry about the damage to the walls when you throw them in the house.

We used to punch bark off the logs to see who had the toughest knuckles!

Back on Cougar Creek ... We didn't have coconuts!

Well, i was foolin' around in the yard today when we found a coupla pieces of flagstone, so i thought hey, those would be cool for the aquarium, but they were too big...brain storm, i'll break 'em!! the first one was about 1 and a half inches thick 8 inches across and 10 inches long, easy break Second piece twice that...i put the little one top the of big one, slapped it, it broke in half...i put the the big one on top of a different piece slapped it and the bottom one broke Hmmmm i cant decide if that counts or not

Yes, I took two 2"x6" boards and tied them together and hung them from a pole. Now, I don't use my fist on that, I use a snapping roundhouse kick, and to my surprise I broke both of them. That just go's to show ya that practice does make perfect
