It's Russian, I think (Could be Estonian). Video is the second from the bottom under the "Wing Tsun" Sidebar. In Cyrillic it looks like "BN(backwards) (rectangle thingee with legs) EO"

As for the clip, all I saw was some second-rate clinch work, some third-rate ground work, and very very little wing chun. Oh well, at least they're sparring full contact. They'll figure it out eventually.

Full contact sparring is good at any level, it mimicks real life situations. the sifu emin clips were explosive and had real good content. Thanks for the post.
i loved that flying kick the dude in the blue shorts did, in the second clip.. it was kinda funny I done wing chun and I must say I am glad I don't do wing chun any longer...they were mostly swinging, wing chun is mostly linear strikes it has very little hooks, this clips just proves that full contact or a street situation.. wing chun pretty much goes out the window
I didn't recognice many things as wing tsun... the only things were some punches with little body weight behind them, and some weak waist level kicks (which we all know should be avoided in a fight). There were also some stronger punches of course, but it is not wing tsun if you load up on your punch.
The things that actually worked and/or finished the fights were typical things you see in MMA, that as far as I know are not advocated by wing chun: thai clinch and knees, half giljotinue, and mount plus some pounding. Wing tsun uses only knee on ribs or neck, not the full mount (at least that's what I have seen of Emin Boztepe). There was also as leg scissor choke or whatever you want to call it.. not a part of wing tsun either AFAIK.
(Why didn't they use antigrappling?? I mean, if you use that you practically can't be taken down I hear...)
Since 95% of WT schools only do dead-pattern drills, people think one can move in a real fight like in a drill. Bullcrap.
Real fights are scruffy. If WT people just realize this they would start fighting and stop mourning all the time about how anything "doesn't look like WT"...

Hehe that's what I was saying...
The funny thing is they first have the typical wing tsun stance (scientifically based on triangle shape, or wedge), and as soon as they make contact they don't use any wing tsun principles at all, they just try to batter each other with sucker punches. A few guys utilized head control (with the thai clinch) and threw knees, and that had good effect on the opponent.
I would really like to see the instructors go at it full contact, trying only to use wing tsun... hehe.
it looked like wing tsun to me. they have knees and elbows, head and neck control, continuous striking. dont confuse the theory with the practice. they used mostly what they were taught plus lots of adrenaline. its not going to be pretty if they are sparring full contact. muay thai is rarely pretty. bjj is rarely pretty. when two guys are going full-on it going to be crazy.
what they are learning worked, one guy won the other lost.
