  • what are the rules of the UFC & Pride & other championships........?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    hi every one

i allways hear about rules in the open fight ...and some times they say there is no rules in the open fight they say t's completely free fighting.... and some of them they say there is less Rules .......and like that....!!!

now my question is about these championships:.........
Absolute FC....Gladiator Challenge....HookNShoot...K-1... King of the Cage...
    PRIDE FC...UFC........etc

    1) what are the rulels .......?

    2) is there a levels for the Rules in the open fight ...?if there is please write the Rules with each Level?

    3) is there absolutely open fight without any rules in these champinships? or in other champinships i dont know about it...?

    4) pleaseeeeee guys i want a deeply explanation and details about it in easy way.

because i am messy in these things......

    rulz rule...

The rulz are subject to change...depending on the outcome's of matches.

The first rule in UFC to change must of been the kicking whilst on the ground..after Fight 1 in UFC 1 when that guy got kicked in the face real REAL hard.

But, I don't think it changed for a while!! I can't even remember if they stopped the fight then and there or...

I don't know if you can hit 'em in the nut's anymore(I presume N.O.) but that used to be legal- just immoral.

You will probably have to work 'em out yourself...as that's part of the fun.

I remember Tank Abbot lost the fight, but gave the interview, 'cause the winner(Scott "the pitbull" Ferrozo) went to hospital. SO THERE WAS PROBABLY ANOTHER RULE CHANGE THERE!?!

The rule changes didnt come about from a guy getting kicked in the face REALLY REALLY hard... or Joe Son having his nuts punched a buncha times in a row.

The rules came as UFC had to get sanctioned by an athletic commission to continue as a business in america. The athletic commission makes most of the rules.

Do you wonder why pride has knees/kicks to a downed opponent... they dont have to deal with an athletic commission.
