    Dear Mike,
I perfectly understand all the precaution you took in your mail and they are justified. I have been in Asia for something like 8 years.
When I came in china for the first time I met 2 person who were lucky enough to find a deal like this and not being a scam.
During those last years I opened my own school and made enough relation to provide this kind of services.
Since a very young age I loved martial arts- and wish for those whom have the desire to train to find what they need.

You can be assured that this is not a scam, and if you let people reply on this forum and come over I can guarantee that you will have good feed backs in a few months.
However I would understand if you were to do otherwise.
    Without any prejudice taken.

    Sincerely
    Mr Simon

But you DO need a college degree to qualify for the appropriate visa to do such work legitimately. Especially nowadays.

But I do, that's why I commented. Loads of people work 'unofficially' but to be legit you need a visa designating you as a 'foreign expert' there in the country because of your specialized skills. And frankly, any school that would accept someone without at least a B.A. is highly suspect. There are quite a few 'questionable' schools, so it is certainly possible to hook up with that kind of a scene, but...

Actually most of foreign teachers have not any diploma (with them at least) here (even the most famous schools). However the minimum legal requirement in China in most of places is High School diploma. In order to guarantee the offer I'd rather they take diplomas with them than not. If you have a master in medicine or nuclear physics it would be even better.

Jubaji, there is absolutely no problem in being skeptical here.
It is normal you ask those questions.

I know my offer to be genuine and scam free and most people might think the opposite. I can't do much about it anyway.

              Now I'm far more skeptical.

Actually I dont think this would be better, especially going to a Communist country =0)

I'm pretty sure you can get a Master's Degree (no pun intended) in teaching English as a second language. IMHO, just being able to speak English doesn't make you a teacher. No offense. I'd love to get into teaching ESL under the right circumstances.

I have lived in China 4 years and there is lots of people there who teach English and dont have the qualification to do so, thier is people teaching English who can just about speak English themselves its crazy.

If you are teaching unofficially then your job would not be safe, i mean if they wanted to just say right we dont need you now get out then they could.
But if you had the correct teaching qualifications and teaching official in a university over there then its a different story all together.

SOUNDLESS...Where abouts in China is this offer???
