How do you figure that? More assumptions without anything to back 'em up I see.

This jackass comes on the CMA forum, talking about things he had to look up just to participate in this discussion and is trying to make this about globetrotting.

Then, he has the nerve to call Nelson "some guy from Brooklyn". A man who was my master's teacher. A man who was Carl Cestari's teacher. A man who is revered and remembered worldwide for his contributions.

Jubaji knows better than to name names of his teachers and schools because he knows he comes from a long line of fakes and shit talkers. And that's why he attempts to shift this dialogue to being about who's visited what plot of land.

In truth, he's just jealous of this thread and this entire forum because martial arts actually get discussed here. People actually learn in the CMA forum. People ask questions and seek out advice here. So, jubaji needs to come here and try to hijack threads and ruin decent conversation.

He's a troll who's purpose is to detract from any other forum that takes attention away from the beloved MMA/BJJ forum. He knows what he's doing, so he's not wasting his time. He's trying to waste OUR time.

Yeah, I've noted that pattern of behavior, and his utter lack of respect for Nelson, Cestari, Applegate, Biddle or W.E. FAIRBAIRN. Makes you wonder what his other screen names might be....sure would explain why he gets away with so much.

Imagine my surprise that all the talk about Mongolian Wrestling wasn't really about Mongolian Wrestling!

Are you denying that he was a guy from Brooklyn?

Actually, I think I've mentioned a few of them a few times. Its your own damn fault that all you rate is disdain.

Actually, when one of the key issues is the usurpation of the name of an ancient art tied to a very specific place then that discussion is highly relevant to the discussion.

It's just that, the system is based on 4 conceptual attacks. Each attack has a flow of strikes/evasions from a non telegraphed point. Each attack ends with a throw that allows you to remain standing, in the very rare event the throw doesn't finish the fight there is a follow up stomp that will. There are 4 ways to set these throws up so the opponent cant breakfall, they either ensure you land on the neck or they impart such a whip into the head and neck it slams the head into the ground. The throws themselves are part of the entire flow, you can't pick these systems apart and put pieces into other styles where you see fit, the throws are created by the interaction of you and the opponent as he initiates his attack you treat that as the impetus for your attack and attack him first. The stepping within the system will position you where the opponent needed to step to maintain his balance, when he needs the space it isnt there but you are, waiting on him...usually the hands were attacking the neck, throat and head with heavy strikes or rips to distract the opponent from the throw being setup.

I'm sure you realize most systems didnt always kick with the top of the foot and shin, however kicks with the edges and bottom of the feet were too damaging and were replaced with the current way of kicking...the same is true in most schools teaching ways to throw, the most dangerous throws aren't taught for a multitude of reasons.

One would hope so, but don't confuse slavishly accepting the words of your prophet and falling into hysterics at any hint of a challenge with productive dialog.

Its so inconvenient when people interrupt your fantasies, hyperbole, and group affirmation, isn't it?

Is it "beloved"? That's interesting. Maybe the truth is that its just resented by kids like you who for some reason find those things intimidating. But, that's your problem...
