a little help from those more informed on the history of shaolin chuan....how many different five animal forms exsist and which are valid...or are they all valid? tried to find a vid on the web of a version i've been working and ot seems that everyone has a different way? i know these styles are very scattered but is there an industry standard?

Every school has their own version of any style. i dun think there is a standard of the animals. but there are things that are the same in each style. like the moves should have the same application, but it doesnt necessarily look the same. theres many different kinds of animals too. theres like crane, tiger, dragon, snake, monkey, horse, drunken monkey, leopard boxing, and like some other ones too.

alot of chinese martial art is very artistic. different masters have their own versions and interpretation of them
