Uke, Dick, I think you’re both right. I know for a FACT that multiple screennames are not only tolerated they’re REQUESTED by the mods here. I was personally pmed and asked to create multiple accounts by a mod who set up bogus screen names as well so we could “stir things up a bit” by posting and arguing with each other and members of the forum because people come to gawk at the “wrecks.”

I also know from experience on other forums that traffic equals advertising money, sites that don’t permit trolls (and count on the traffic they generate to sell advertising) need private funding from the members to survive. Some forums even go so far as to PAY people per post (I also know this from experience). A site that doesn’t have enough on topic discussion to be profitable needs the trolls to draw readers, see the big picture yet?

Sites that require your real name and location along with verifiable credentials get enough traffic that they don’t need or tolerate trolls. Some of these private forums have giveaways of expensive items to members BY other members as well as regular local and international get togethers. However, like I said, all their money to run the forums come from members donations and support in appreciation for the information and camaraderie available there. You see its true on forums as in life, you reap what you sow. Trolls disrupt on topic discussion and you lose that base of readers and posters until pretty soon you rely on the trolls with multiple screen names for readers.

well, he is obviously related to mike b or excessive in some way. thats why he doesnt get banned. i wouldnt be surprised if he was mike b's little 13 year old brother, or excessives little bro, messing around on the comp. that may be why he never gets banned despite repeating the same 5 or 6 interchangable one liners that he has posted 7000+ times now.

the only posts he really went out of his way to elaborate on was the story he posted about how he used a wwf wrestlers finishing move on someone in a dennys parking lot after had consumed tons of beer, and the story he posted about how he needed physical therapy sessions to rebuild his neck after he nearly snapped in two when he slipped of the couch while he was trying to suck himself off. neither on was very enlightening inmop.
