And it was Wrestlers who knew how to slam a guy to the ground and pin him there, and who knew what it felt like to be slammed to the ground and pinned.
Finally we get the truth, your entire experience revolves around WATCHING schoolyard fights by unarmed children, thanks for your honesty.

Of course, everyone knows that only out of shape theory-boys can survive 'da street' through the power of deadly, deadly techniques that they have never actually done. The fact that they never leave the basement and come out into the light of day makes any kind of training a moot point anyway.

I've been around a long time, I've seen some great fighters, I've yet to meet anyone who could defeat multiple opponents from their back without a weapon. I know what good KF is, and I know what it's not, much of what you've posted is from the questionable category. Many of your claims are every bit as laughable as the MMA fans assertions of their superiority outside of the ring in spite of the dead professionals whose performance outside the ring shows otherwise. I've seen you boast about your Snake and Tiger Claw and I've asked you twice how you conditioned these tools and you've avoided the question. The fact that you've done so combined with your assertions makes you look like a creation of an MMA troll who is trying to find a way to divert attention from MMA's failure as anything but entertainment and a sport .

That's hard to do without all the information, some people are too scared to think outside the box though. When all we have is old text (which some people are too scared to read) and the actions of the proponents of both sides to examine it isn't easy to figure out who's really the good guy. Read the posts of Arieson, he proclaims to be Christian, read the papers, Christians killing their own kids "because they're possessed" or raping someone else's kids for whatever twisted reason makes me wonder, it's like they say, actions speak louder than words. Far more death and horror has been done to man by those who did by so in some "Gods" service than of any other.

And again, what type of conditioning do you do for Tiger and Snake strikes? Both require extreme finger strength and conditioning, so what do you do because without that conditioning its a joke and useless.
Hey TTEscrima, I have no problem with that video tape I think he has skill. But what i am speaking about is more vicious combative and survival fighting. I remember how one of my instructors would attack a person that he got close to. It was a blurr of fierce attacks and the person was on the ground. You would get hit so many tmes in vital spots that you could barely even see it. he was also a very strong man and if he got his hands on you you were unable to escape. He was a leopard stylist also.

I think when some in here attack Kung Fu, it is because they have no idea what techniques are part of the arsenal. Or perhaps they have seen that pathetic video of a so called kung fu man being overcome easily by a Gracie Jujitsu fighter. Or the other pathetic kung fu fight where the kung fu man is easily overcome by a grappler and has his arm broken. These are not a representation of kung fu at all. I saw no kung fu from either of them, no stance (hardly) no form, no technique no hand positioning, no guard, no footwork, etc etc etc.

I think some try to judge how effective kung fu is by what they se on You tube. This is not a good representation of Kung Fu. The best kung fu masters will not even be seen by many. I remember seeing one time quite a while ago a video, (not on you tube) of an old man who was a master for many years and teaches in china, he looked thin and easy to overcome, if a person judged by outward appearance. Yet in combat he fought like ten tigers. He was apparently able to fight ten men at one time and overcome them according to the narrator. His technique was fast and agressive. He used many kicks and punchs as he kicked. He rushed in in a flurry of movements The way he moved and the speed at which he moved made it seem possible.

Most Westerners never even see such things. And some of the older masters have no desire to show them either unless they show their students.

One of my instructors could fight more than one man , on his back. I have seen his combat skill. I do not want to boast about him. I just make the point that so much is not seen.

    Highly unlikely.

Jesus inhabited the Middle East and was probably darker haired, tan-colored man with little monetary means (remember he was given a donkey to ride and slept in humble bedding).

Indeed a humble looking man, but never forgotten.

    Hey, Hello kingoftheforest.

I was wondering about those books. It looks like you are standing between heaven and hell, make a choice.

Some see the forest but not the trees and others see the trees but not the seeds and still few see the seeds but not the sower (or planter of the trees). Even fewer see the sower.

The way I see it... we're all thin skinned (soft) targets and top heavy when standing.

Sometimes we need to think more like a bad guy and less like a victim.

    That is all.

Hey I think we found where you and your beliefs fit in, think about that for awhile sports fan. It seems your true colors aren't Red White and Blue after all, but I'm not surprised. You're against freedom of religion, freedom of choice and the right to keep the money you earn and you have the audacity to call someone else a communist? Are you familiar with the concept of irony?

Police detain 49 for "satanic" clothes

The morals police seal off a barber shop for giving Western-style haircuts in Reuters – …

TEHRAN (Reuters) – Police have arrested 49 people this week in a northern Iranian city during a crackdown on "satanic" clothes, IRNA news agency reported Thursday.

The measures are the latest in a country-wide campaign against Western cultural influence in the Islamic Republic, where strict dress codes are enforced.

"Police confronted rascals and thugs who appeared in public wearing satanic fashions and unsuitable clothing," Qaemshahr city police commander Mahmoud Rahmani told IRNA.

Rahmani also said that five barber shops were shut and 20 more warned for "promoting Western hairstyles."

In the past, such crackdowns have lasted a few weeks or months, but the current campaign was launched in 2007 and has not let up.

It includes measures against men sporting spiky "Western" hairstyles or women wearing tight trousers and high boots.

Women are supposed to wear clothing that covers their hair and disguises the shape of their bodies. But some, particularly in cities, wear headscarves pushed back well beyond their hairlines and sport tight-fitting outfits.

Some analysts say the authorities fear such open acts of defiance against the Islamic Republic's values could escalate if they go unchecked. This worries them when Iran is under pressure from the West over its disputed nuclear work, they say.

"Some individuals, not knowing what culture they are imitating, put on clothing that was designed by the enemies of this country," Rahmani said.

"The enemies of this country are trying to divert our youth and breed them the way they want and deprive them of a healthy life," he added.

Rahmani did not say how the offenders would be punished. Usual penalties are a warning or a fine.

Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has in the past suggested Iran's enemies may try to stage a "soft" or "velvet" revolution by infiltrating corrupt culture or ideas.

Apparently no matter how much practice the PRO MMA fighters put in they couldn't survive an amateur on the street, and no matter how much time the military spent on MMA (more than any other H2H program ever) it still failed in real combat where rules and ref weren't present. Blather on all day bub, but the fact is MMA failed the test when taken out of the ring, the MMA PROFFESIONALS DIED and thus the Kung Fu and Combatives you're so busy badmouthing survived, not only that, they were REQUESTED to REPLACE the MMA that was being taught. The men who put their lives on the line defending the country said MMA wasn't suitable for actual fights outside the ring, FACT not uniformed opinion from someone who admits he can't fight and says it doesn't matter because he doesn't consider the yuppie bankers he hangs with a threat.
