He posted pictures on DL of him using techniques against a grappler. However the grappler was his son who knows nothing about grappling at all.

Guest repliedAnyway, to all here that may be watching on and not posting and to those who really have something to say and would like to se this forum used for a productive purpose. I would gladly have liked to post many techniques in here and video and have you also share things as well. But I just don't care for some peoples attitudes in here.

Guest repliedHey, how do I post pictures in a succession in here and not just the link? I want to post picture one, then two , three and so on, and I want to see them in this thread, not in a link to another page?

Guest repliedI am familiar with the best techniques in MMA which are Jujitsu, and even though jujitsu has combative techniques, many of the students that I have seen and their training and their tournaments etc etc etc, do not stress this kind of defense. I have studied this for a while now. Remember we are dealing with a sport mentality that doesn't have to fear a man clawing his eyes or attacking the groin or nerves, finger joints, throat etc etc.Originally posted by jubaji View PostYOU have no idea what a competent grappler would or would not do because you evidently have never met one. Go meet one and try your theories out.

Guest repliedThis "climusy doofus" as you call him, is my son. He is not a doofus, please refrain from attacking him, he is not involved in this discussion. I am merely showing the technique and it works. I have no desire to try and claw some MMA fighters face with this or break his neck. I only use such techniques in self defense. You should know this from me already.Originally posted by jubaji View PostOk, let's see it. Against a competent grappler, not some clumsy doofus who learned 'grappling' from the likes of you. Let's see it at full speed with full intent on both sides.

Guest repliedI am not a MMA guy from another forum. I am not an MMA guy at all. Unless you say mixed martial arts is mixing many kinds of Kung Fu together. In that case I am a Kung Fu man who mixes different styles he has learned together.Originally posted by Mr. Ariesonbut my tone would be far more respectful if I was convinced I was talking to a real teacher, and not some MMA guy from another forum out to start flame wars on this forum, (which is exactly what I think you are doing).
I think this is part of the real issue. When a person gets involved in a style or MMA etc they will often want to defend it and often they will promote what it is they are doing. But I am not attacking MMA right out. I am only making comments about the ultimate fighting mindset and the sport and combative aspects.Originally posted by Mr. AriesonDon't forget that I come from the traditional martial arts. I have only recently started doing MMA training.
I happen to like some of the jujitsu techniques that I see from time to time. But for the most part I am not impressed by it.

Guest repliedOk, guys here we go again.
This is a crest from one of the clubs I trained at. Master Lin had taught there for many years during the eighties. He taught Hung Gar , Northern Shaolin, White Crane. And just because you cannot find it on the internet does not mean that it did not exist. I could show you yellow page ads for this club all through the eighties. I am not going to show pics of my Choy Li Fut master for other reasons, but his lineage is strong.
And here is a technique that can be used against a shoot at the legs, you reach over with the left hand and lock into the inside lips and eyelids, or lock the chin. But be careful with this it is very dangerous. Do not practice this unless you have proper instruction. All these type of things should be done at a slower speed.
Now some may say that this technique won't work. But I think they say this having never really seen it before or practiced it. id does work and it is very effective. But would be highly illegal in the MMA sport fighting.
