He is in a position to learn and grow. you however are not.

I marvel at how one lie against me, or one false assumption can grow into a massive mountain of lies and error.

The bottom line is, that some get in a huff and arrogant rage when I won't tell them all the specifics of my personal info. I already shared why I won't do this, but that is not enough.

It is not up to us to read other web sites. YOU came HERE making accusations without any evidence. HungKungFu says what his lineage comes from. SHOW proof that he claims this is not his lineage or that this lineage is false. THIS FORUM NEEDS EVIDENCE to back claims and not fight challenges. A fight does not prove of disprove lineage, it only proves an inability to fight.

Bruce has only shown one teacher, one who actually refutes his claims.
Get it? The only teacher he can name says he is a liar....

Hey TigerClaw, what would you recommend to counter an elbow lock? It's been my sticking point, and I'd like to figure something out. Any little hints or pointers will help me a lot.

By elbow lock do you mean, the person grabs your wrist with one hand twist it over and presses his other hand or forearm on your elbow as you are faced towards the ground?

One escape is to ben d the elbow just before he locks in and hook back with the same hand that is grabbed and twist in facing your opponent and lock his wrist and get him into the same position. I would have to post pictures for this one. I have to do a few things right now, but let me know exactly what elbow lock you are referring to. there are a few different ones.

And as far as the mockers and false assumers, just ignore them and lets talk.

Fraud implies someone who lies about credentials i.e. claiming to be a BJJ BB.
Whether or not HungKungFu teaches crap or not he seems to be honest about his training and credentials therefore - not a fraud-

And to HungKungFu.....
No one cares if someone makes something up if it can be backed up in a live resistant non choreographed manner. The problem with most Kung Fu is they back up their claims through descriptions and anecdotal confirmation.

There are several posters here who are Kung Fu guys and can show what they know works. In the day and age of video and youtube it's not hard.

LF, here is the deal. When i first ran into this fool, i was polite and identified myself, my lineage and even posted a couple pics of me with and without my teachers at Bruce's request. He ignored my requests for the same.

How rude, but I let it slide as he was claiming to be a "brother" so to speak. When it became apparent that he knew little if anything about the KF in question i began to do a little google-fu. In a few minutes i found out the following, but since then the pile of rubbish has only grown.

Turns out Bruce Downey has been at this little game for years, and it seems that part of this little shtick is to change the styles he claims to teach; from Hung, to _ing _un, white crane, CLF etc... Forum searches connecting Bruce to Leishman (who himself claims Bruce only trained for a year)go back years, yet in not one instance has he come up with another teacher.

The whole deal plays out the same way on every forum, ending with Bruce REBUKE-ing everyone who calls his BS and his eventual banning for refusing to abide by forum rules.
